i’m building holon research focusing on local LLMs for flourishing-tech. i previously co-founded chipp.ai, building private, enterprise-grade AI, worked at the meaning alignment institute to align tech with human values, and developed ‘AI pedagogy’ at city as a school. i’ve also helped 50K+ people build ‘second brains’ and am the proud maintainer of solarpunklist.com directory.

no cloud, no accounts, no analytics, no telemetry. whisperkit running locally on the neural engine, core data with file-level encryption, and a $100 lifetime supporter tier instead of a subscription. i wanted a dictation app i could trust with a therapy session, a doctor's visit, or a privileged conversation — so i made one where the audio physically cannot leave the device.

pluck.ai — computer vision tea bud detectiontrained a machine vision model to identify pickable tea shoots in real time. first step toward farm-specific robotics for premium tea harvesting.

the best published model in this field sits at 95.73% accuracy but was trained on chinese varieties. it's useless on darjeeling or assam. every farm needs its own model, and few public datasets exist to shortcut that. trained YOLOv8 on 500 labelled images from a roboflow dataset. 5 hours on a macbook m1.

i mapped every data center on earth, then built the intelligence layer on top.

730 facilities across 96 countries — plotted on a 3D globe by coordinates, capacity, and status. beneath the visualization is a GPU secondary market intelligence platform: an AI pipeline that reads bankruptcy filings, SEC disclosures, and court dockets daily to surface distressed compute assets before they hit public listings. built for analysts who want to see the infrastructure buildout as it actually is, not as it's reported.
